Noble Hearts: Civil War Vermont
The Wilderness and Cedar Creek, Vermont regiments were called upon to fight the Civil War. Mills hummed with the manufacture of woolen blankets and uniforms and large farms shipped apples, potatoes and hay to support the war effort.
