Abstract
Footage of the Rangers loading up their truck and leaving Camp Medomak, including a shot of a big send-off at Senior Camp. A few shots of Rangers stopping and unloading the truck. Footage of men and boys loading canoes, riding a tramway near a lake, attempting to break free from pulp logs floating in the water and loading equipment into a larger boat amidst pulp logs. Footage of Rangers and counselors, including Harold E. “Couch” Martin, at a campsite cooking, eating, chopping wood, washing clothes and sharpening axes on a grindstone. Footage of boys attempting log-rolling. A few shots of boys waking up and striking camp. Footage of canoes going through rapids. A shot of men and boys loading canoes. A shot of boys cooking on a shingle. Footage of the men and boys, including Harold E. Martin, setting up a campsite in a meadow next to a deadwater using canoes and mosquito nets as shelter. A few shots of the men and boys walking canoes through some rapids. A shot of some men cooking at a permanent shelter. A shot of men and boys in canoes and in the water around floating logs and driftwood. Shots of men and boys in canoes.
