Collection contains documentaries. [Interviews with Albert "Hap" Collins] is a series of videotapes, with interviews conducted primarily at Collins' home and workshop in South Blue Hill, Maine. Other footage was taken on his boat while lobstering with Ken Taplin in Blue Hill Bay. Among other topics, Collins talks about his Scottish ancestors, life on the Maine coast, literary and artistic influences, and his vocations. He also reads his poems and plays two fiddle tunes. Also included is a one-hour edited version.

Jeff Todd Titon is an ethnomusicologist in the music department at Brown University. Albert "Hap" Collins, resident of South Blue Hill, Maine, worked as a boat builder, painter, poet, fiddler, fisherman, and carpenter. He died in 1990. Original footage is 8 mm. videotape.
