Collection contains an amateur work, a record of the celebration of Fryeburg's Sesquicentennial (150th) celebration of the incorporation of the town and the 200th anniversary of Lovewell's Fight. Footage includes a Main Street parade held in July 1927, and an outdoor historical pageant enacted by children and young adults. Intertitles identify Maine Governor Ralph Brewster and veterans of the G.A.R., among others.
Fryeburg Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of local history. Fryeburg is located in western Maine on the Saco River. Ralph O. Brewster was governor of Maine from 1925 to 1928.
